About HubSpot
HubSpot is the CRM where your sales team keeps the customer, the contacts and the deal. For a client onboarding that record is the starting gun rather than a data source: it already holds what the first onboarding step needs.
How the integration works
What starts it
A deal moving to Closed Won fires a webhook into Micromerce. Nothing is polled on a schedule, nothing is copied out of a handover email, and nobody has to remember to open the project.
What comes across
The customer and contract record behind the deal: the company, the contacts on it, and what was sold. The first tasks are built from that data, so the client onboarding starts filled in rather than blank.
What happens next
Configured rules assign the onboarding flow and the people on it: AE, CSM, TSM, IT contact. The flow generates the stages and tasks for the right owners at the right time. Every assignment can be overridden by hand where a customer does not fit the standard path.
When the customer sees it
A magic link to the customer portal goes out within seconds of the deal closing. The first task is waiting there, instead of being announced in a welcome email somebody still has to write.
Where the line runs
HubSpot stays the system of record for the deal. Micromerce holds the onboarding state: stages, tasks, owners, and the timeline to go-live.
What it is not
HubSpot is the trigger, not a migration source. The data that has to move into your target system comes out of the systems listed under data sources. The client onboarding this deal opens is what carries that migration.
