How the integration works
What you hand over An export from the host, including Db2 for i on AS/400.
What gets read Tables are read as they are. Nothing has to be rebuilt or reconfigured on the source side.
What comes out One normalised dataset: consistent column names, UTF-8 throughout, empty values instead of the literal text NULL. The transformation works against that shape, not against the quirks of the source.
