About SQLite
SQLite turns up wherever data lives close to a device: point-of-sale terminals, handhelds, desktop apps. One file per location, often hundreds of them, and they all have to end up in one place.
How the integration works
What you hand over The database files, one per device or location. Hundreds of them at once is normal.
What gets read Records from every file, consolidated into one dataset with the origin kept on each row.
What comes out One normalised dataset: consistent column names, UTF-8 throughout, empty values instead of the literal text NULL. The transformation works against that shape, not against the quirks of the source.
